Avanti West Coast between London Euston / Birmingham New Street and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh

TransPennine Express between Manchester Airport and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh, and also between Liverpool Lime Street and Glasgow Central

Description

The broken down train near Lockerbie has been moved out of the way, allowing the line to be reopened. Whilst the train service begins to return to normal, trains between Carlisle and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh may be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 minutes.

Disruption is expected until 18:00.

You can use your tickets at no extra cost on the following services:

  • CrossCountry services between Birmingham New Street and Edinburgh

  • LNER between London Kings Cross and Edinburgh

  • ScotRail between Glasgow and Edinburgh

If your train is cancelled, your ticket is valid on one of the two Avanti West Coast services immediately before your booked train, or one of the two immediately after.
