Description
A broken down train between Lockerbie and Carstairs means that the line towards Glasgow Central / Edinburgh is blocked. Trains running between Carlisle and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh may be cancelled or delayed by up to 25 minutes.
Disruption is expected until 16:45.

If your train is cancelled, your ticket is valid on one of the two Avanti West Coast services immediately before your booked train, or one of the two immediately after.

When the line reopens, you can also use your ticket at no extra cost on Avanti West Coast services departing before 17:00 between Preston and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh.
