Description

A fault on a train at Lockerbie means that the line towards Carlisle is blocked. As a result, trains running between Edinburgh / Motherwell and Carlisle may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.

Major disruption is expected until 10:30.

• LNER services between Edinburgh and London Kings Cross in this direction only

• Northern services between Carlisle and Newcastle in this direction only

  • Glasgow Queen Street and Edinburgh via Falkirk High in this direction only

  • Glasgow Central and Edinburgh via Shotts in this direction only

• TransPennine Express services between Edinburgh / Glasgow Central and Preston in both directions

If your train is cancelled, your ticket is valid on one of the two Avanti West Coast services immediately before your booked train, or one of the two immediately after.
