Description
All lines have now reopened following a fault on a train in the Lockerbie area earlier today. As service recovers, trains running in the Lockerbie area may be delayed by up to 15 minutes, cancelled or revised.
Disruption expected until 19:30.
Avanti West Coast customer advice:
If your train is cancelled, your ticket is valid on one of the two Avanti West Coast services immediately before your booked train, or one of the two immediately after.
If you no longer wish to travel because your train's delayed or cancelled, you can request a full refund from where you bought your ticket.
TransPennine Express customer advice:
Although the line is blocked, you should continue to travel as planned, however, your journey may be delayed by 60 minutes.
If you are travelling from Lockerbie towards Glasgow Central, you can use your ticket at no extra cost on the Avanti West Coast service from Lockerbie towards Glasgow Central calling at Motherwell.
