Description
A fire on a property between London Bridge / Canada Water and New Cross / New Cross Gate means all lines are blocked. As a result, trains between these stations may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
London Overground customer advice:
You can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following alternatives:
London buses via any reasonable route
London Underground via any reasonable route
Southeastern via any reasonable route until further notice
Southern via any reasonable route until further notice
Southern / Thameslink customer advice:
If you are travelling between London Blackfriars and East Croydon, please allow an extra 30 minutes to complete your journey. Services on this route are being diverted and will not call at London Bridge.
Thameslink services running on the diversion route will be subject to delays of at least 15 minutes.
Travelling to London Bridge from the north or South: You are advised to change at East Croydon for connecting Southern services back to London Bridge, or alight at London Blackfriars and use London Underground or local bus services.
Travelling from London Bridge: Please use alternative direct Southern services from London Bridge, or travel via London Underground to connect with Thameslink services at London Blackfriars.

Can you tell me more about the incident?
Emergency services are currently dealing with a fire in the London Bridge area. Rail services are currently disrupted. Fires in railway areas present a serious safety risk, as they can damage signalling equipment, power systems, and track infrastructure, and create unsafe conditions for trains and staff.
Emergency services are on site and trains cannot safely operate until the area has been assessed and declared safe.

What's happened?
A large fire has broken out at a recycling plant between New Cross and London Bridge. We have also now received reports of an uncontrolled evacuation from a train between London Bridge and New Cross. All lines are blocked.
How does this affect my journey?
No trains are running to/from London Bridge. Do not attempt to travel to/from London Bridge.
Travel to London St Pancras International for services towards Ashford/Ramsgate/Dover.
Travel to London Victoria for services towards Orpington (for onwards travel towards Sevenoaks/Tonbridge), and towards Ramsgate.
Travel to Denmark Hill for services towards Sevenoaks.
