Description
The emergency services have completed their work following an earlier incident. This has allowed all lines between London Paddington and Reading to reopen. Whilst service recovers, trains may still be severely delayed by up to 90 minutes, cancelled or revised.
Major disruption is expected until 03:00.

London Underground services via any reasonable route
Great Western Railway services between London Paddington and Reading
South Western Railway services between London Waterloo and Reading
Chiltern Railways between London Marylebone and High Wycombe
London Buses between Paddington and Heathrow Terminals / West Drayton
Great Western Railway customer advice:
Replacement transport has been requested to operate between Slough, Burnham, Taplow, Maidenhead, Twyford and Reading.
Tickets will be accepted at no extra cost on the following routes:
Elizabeth line via any reasonable route
South Western Railway to / from London Waterloo
Thameslink between Farringdon and Gatwick Airport
London Underground between London Marylebone and London Waterloo
Chiltern Railways between London Marylebone and Oxford
CrossCountry between Reading and Oxford
If your train is cancelled, you may travel on either of the two services before, or two services after, your original train. If these are peak services or less flexible, you can still travel with your original ticket, at no extra cost.
If you're already travelling when disruption happens, Great Western Railway will get you where you need to go. If you miss the last train of the day due to cancellation or because another train was delayed they won’t leave you stranded.
