Description

Following the emergency services dealing with an earlier incident between London Paddington and Heathrow Terminals / Reading, trains are returning to normal between these stations.

Some residual disruption is still expected to occur across the routes whilst trains and train crew return to their normal positions. These train crew displacements are affecting GWR services between London Paddington and Great Malvern until approximately 12:00.

Please note, a reduced service is in operation between London Paddington and Heathrow Terminal 5 / Reading.

Advice for Great Western Railways customers between London Paddington and Worcester / Great Malvern:

If you're at a Worcester station wishing to travel travel to Reading / London, you can use your train ticket via Cheltenham Spa / Bristol Parkway at no extra cost if it will you complete your journey.

Additionally, your ticket can also be used on the following operators at no extra cost:

• CrossCountry between Worcestershire Parkway and Bristol Parkway

• West Midlands Railway between Worcester Shrub Hill and Hereford

• Stagecoach routes:

  • S3 Oxford to Charlbury

  • S7 Oxford to Hanborough

• First bus routes:

  • X50 Evesham to Worcester

  • 44 Worcester to Great Malvern

  • 417 Worcester to Ledbury

  • 675 Great Malvern to Ledbury

If your train is cancelled, you may travel on either of the two services before, or two services after, your original train. If these are peak services or less flexible, you can still travel with your original ticket, at no extra cost.

If you miss a connection as a result of being delayed, you can use your ticket, at no extra cost, on the next available train.
