Description

Trains are now able to run at a normal speed following an earlier speed restriction over defective track between London Waterloo and Vauxhall. Services between these stations in both directions may continue to be delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 14:00.

Customer advice:

The fault has since been rectified and all lines have now reopened, however disruption will continue whilst the service returns to the scheduled timetable.

Long distance / mainline services

Trains to and from London Waterloo and Weymouth, Basingstoke, Portsmouth, Exeter St Davids and Alton are expected to be delayed or altered at a short notice.

Windsor / Reading services

Trains running to and from London Waterloo to Reading, Hounslow, Shepperton and London Waterloo via Twickenham are expected to be delayed or altered at a short notice.

Suburban services

Trains running to and from London Waterloo and Guildford via Cobham, Woking, Chessington, and Hampton Court may be delayed, revised or cancelled at short notice.
