Lines reopened: disruption between Bradford Interchange and Halifax expected until the end of the day

Description

Following a train hitting an obstruction on the line between Bradford Interchange and Halifax all lines have reopened. As service recovers, trains running between these stations may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 50 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Services between Bradford Interchange and Halifax are being disrupted due to a train hitting an obstruction on the line in the Low Moor area earlier today.

What should I do?

You can travel on the next Northern service to your destination, where available.

You can also travel on TransPennine Express services at no extra cost between Leeds and Manchester stations.

Please note that other train operators may also be affected by disruption – please check your whole journey before travelling.

Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.
