Description

Lines have reopened following the emergency services dealing with an incident between St Albans City and Luton. Trains may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 19:00.

Thameslink trains that run on the below routes in all directions are subject to delays of at least 20 minutes in this area. Short notice changes are also likely, and services may run to an amended stopping pattern:

  • Bedford to Brighton

  • Luton to Rainham (Kent)

  • Bedford to East Grinstead

You will not need to use an alternative route, but please allow plenty additional time to complete your journey. Carefully check station information screens prior to boarding.
