Description
Following flooding between Gloucester and Newport (South Wales) all lines have reopened. Trains running between these stations may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 15 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until 19:00.
CrossCountry are also disrupted by this incident.
Customer advice:
Buses are at Lydney and Gloucester shuttling back and forth with the potential for the buses to continue to Cardiff Central if necessary.
Transport for Wales have ticket acceptance with Great Western Railway between Cardiff Central and Cheltenham Spa via Bristol Parkway and CrossCountry between Cardiff Central and Cheltenham Spa for their services which are being diverted via Severn Tunnel. Tickets will be accepted at no extra cost.
