Disruption between Severn Tunnel Junction and Gloucester expected until the end of the day

Description

The emergency services are dealing with an incident between Caldicot and Lydney. Whilst they complete their work all lines between these stations will be closed.

Services between Severn Tunnel Junction and Gloucester will be cancelled, revised, diverted via Bristol Parkway or delayed by up to 60 minutes awaiting lines reopening.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Your ticket can be used at no extra cost on the following services:

• The two CrossCountry services operating before and after your cancelled service

• Great Western Railway services between Cardiff Central and Bristol Parkway

• Transport for Wales between Cardiff Central and Newport (South Wales) - please note these services may be disrupted by this incident

If you decide to travel from a different station due to this disruption and need to return to that station later, you will also be able to use your existing ticket to do this at no extra cost

Unfortunately, any seat reservations will not be carried over to another train, but Coach B, H and L are our unreserved coaches on CrossCountry services (where available) so please head to them.
