Description

A broken rail between Gloucester and Chepstow means some lines are blocked. As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised. Some trains may divert via Bristol Parkway.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

CrossCountry customer advice:

Lydney, Chepstow, Caldicot and Severn Tunnel Junction will not be served.

Some trains may divert via Bristol Parkway.

Your ticket can be used at no extra cost, and without needing to amend your ticket, on the following services:

• The two CrossCountry services operating before and the two services after between Birmingham New Street and Cardiff Central / Bristol Parkway

• Great Western Railway between Bristol Parkway and Cardiff Central in both directions

• Transport for Wales services between Newport and Cardiff Central in both directions
