Description

The damaged bridge between Machynlleth and Shrewsbury is causing residual delays to services running between Aberystwyth and Shrewsbury. Trains may still be delayed by up to 40 minutes.

This is expected until 16:00.

There is limited road transport operating between Machynlleth and Shrewsbury by the following providers:

  • Lloyds Coaches - Departing from Machynlleth

  • Lakeside Coaches - Departing from Shrewsbury

These arrangements are in place on services until 20:00

Road Transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.

You can use your ticket, at no extra cost, on West Midlands Railway services between Birmingham International and Shrewsbury in both directions until 19:00.
