Description

All lines have now reopened following an earlier trespass incident between Maghull North and Town Green. Trains running between Kirkdale and Ormskirk may continue to be cancelled or delayed by up to 45 minutes.

Disruption is expected until 10:30.

Customer advice:

Rail replacement transport will run between Walton and Ormskirk until approximately 09:30.

Tickets will be accepted at no extra cost on Stagecoach Buses on routes 20, 21, 82 and also on Arriva Buses via any reasonable route.
