Description

A fault with the signalling system between Ashford International and Swanley is causing disruption to trains running between these stations. As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 40 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 13:00.

What's happened?

Following engineering work on the line, a signalling issue has been identified between Maidstone East and Borough Green & Wrotham, which affects the route between Ashford and Swanley / London Victoria via Maidstone East.

How does this affect my journey?

Services between Ashford and Victoria via Maidstone East will be delayed; one of the two services per hour are being diverted via Sevenoaks and Paddock Wood in each direction.

Services between Maidstone East and London Charing Cross will not run in either direction until at least 13:00.

What should I do?

Please allow extra time for your journey this morning. If your train is cancelled or significantly delayed, alternative services are available from Maidstone Barracks / Maidstone West to London Charing Cross via Tonbridge.
