Description

Trains are able to run again between Paddock Wood and Strood following a member of the signalling staff being taken ill this morning.

Whilst trains return to the scheduled timetable, services between these stations may be cancelled or delayed by up to 30 minutes. Disruption is expected until 10:00.

What's happened?

A member of the signalling staff looking after the Medway Valley line (Paddock Wood - Strood) was taken ill earlier this morning. A relief signaller is now on site and the line has reopened.

How does this affect my journey?

Trains are now able to run again between Strood and Paddock Wood but may still be altered or cancelled whilst we work to resume normal service.
