Description

The emergency services are dealing with an incident between York and Malton, Whilst they attend to the incident, fewer trains are able to run. Trains running between these stations may be revised.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Customer advice:

You can use your tickets at no extra cost on the following services:

  • Northern services from York to Leeds until the end of the day

  • Northern services between Seamer and Scarborough until 23:00

  • TransPennine Express services from Leeds / York to Manchester Stations and Liverpool Lime Street until the end of the day

To help you complete your journey, rail replacement transport has been requested to run between York and Scarborough in both directions.

  • 1 x Full Size Coach xx:15 will run from York to Scarborough calling at Malton, Seamer and Scarborough. These coaches will run hourly

  • 1 x Full Size Coach xx:00 will run from Scarborough calling at Seamer, Malton and York. These coaches will run hourly


Journey times may be extended by 90 minutes whilst travelling by rail replacement transport.
