Description

A fallen tree on the railway between Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport, means all lines are blocked. As a result, trains are unable to run between these stations and will be cancelled.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Northern customer advice:

Your tickets will be accepted on the following routes at no extra cost:

  • Manchester Metrolink services between Manchester Airport / East Didsbury and Manchester Piccadilly

  • TFGM bus service numbers 43, 103, 313 between Manchester Airport and Manchester City Centre

TransPennine Express customer advice:

Your tickets will be accepted on the following routes at no extra cost:

  • Metrolink services between Manchester Central Zone stations and Manchester Airport, in both directions

  • Alternative TransPennine Express services towards your destination

Transport for Wales customer advice:

Customers can use Metrolink services to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost.
