Description
The emergency services are dealing with an incident between Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport, resulting in all lines being closed. Trains running between these stations may be cancelled, severely delayed or diverted.
Major disruption is expected until 15:00.

Due to the current disruption, if you need to travel between the main stations in Manchester city centre, there are several alternative options available:
Bee Network Free Bus – this free service runs every 10 minutes, with stops conveniently located on the station approach at both Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Victoria
You can use your ticket at no extra cost on Metrolink tram services – regular tram services operate between Manchester Victoria and Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport
Walking – it’s approximately a 20-minute walk between the two stations
