Between Carlisle and Whitehaven
Description
Flooding between Carlisle and Whitehaven means all lines are currently closed. As a result, trains may be cancelled or revised.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
Customer advice:
Network Rail engineers are en route to the area with further updates to follow.
Rail replacement:
To assist customers to complete their journey, road transport has been provided as follows:
22:30 at Carlisle, calling at all stations Aspatria then as required to Whitehaven
Journey times will be extended by 60 minutes whilst travelling by rail replacement transport.
