Description

The emergency services are dealing with an incident between Leeds and York. To allow them to safely access the railway and carry out their work, all lines are currently closed between these stations via Micklefield.

Trains running between these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.

This is expected until the end of the day.

You can use your tickets at no extra cost on the following services:

  • LNER services between York and Newcastle.

  • Northern services between Manchester Victoria and Leeds

As it is late in the day the number of connecting trains are limited. If you have already started your journey, every effort will be made to get you to your destination by rail. If not, alternative arrangements will be made for you. Please speak to a member of the TransPennine Express team if you are concerned about your connecting journey.
