Description
A points failure at Micklefield means that some lines are blocked. As a result, trains running between Leeds and Selby / York may be cancelled, delayed by up to 15 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until 15:00.
Northern customer advice:
You can use your ticket at no extra cost on LNER and TransPennine Express services between Leeds and York.
Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.
Passengers at stations between Selby and Hull travelling towards Leeds can travel to York and change there for train services towards Leeds and beyond.
Passengers at stations between Leeds and Micklefield can travel to York and change there for train services towards Selby and Hull and beyond.
TransPennine Express customer advice:
Engineers are aware of the fault and are sending a team to site to resolve the issue.
Trains will be diverted between Leeds and Selby, travelling towards Hull in that direction only.
