Description

A road vehicle colliding with a bridge in the Mirfield area means some lines are blocked. Trains running between Huddersfield / Brighouse and Wakefield Kirkgate may be cancelled or revised.

Disruption is expected until 03:00.

Trains are not running to / from Leeds due to engineering work.

TransPennine Express customer advice:

No trains can run between Huddersfield and Wakefield Kirkgate in both directions.

To help you complete your journey, rail replacement transport has been requested to run between Manchester Piccadilly and Leeds via Huddersfield.

Please see station information posters for the location of rail replacement pick up points and be advised that journey times may be extended by 90 minutes whilst travelling by rail replacement transport.

Due to severe disruption on the lines between Manchester and Leeds, TransPennine Express tickets dated Monday 1 June, can be used today, Tuesday 2 June.
