Description

A broken down train between Leeds and Huddersfield means that some lines are blocked. As a result, TransPennine Express trains running between these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 15 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 15:00.

Customer advice:

Rail Replacement transport is already running, due to the ongoing TransPennine Route Upgrade, between Leeds and Huddersfield, in both directions. You can use your ticket, at no extra cost to travel on these services.

  • Leeds to Huddersfield via Dewsbury at XX:05 and XX:35

  • Huddersfield to Leeds via Dewsbury XX:10 and XX:40

You can use your tickets at no extra cost on the following services:

  • Any alternative TransPennine Express services towards your destination

  • Northern between Leeds and Manchester Victoria

  • Metrolink between Manchester Victoria, Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport

Please note that other train operators may also be experiencing disruption today.

  • Huddersfield and York calling at Mirfield, Wakefield Kirkgate, Castleford, Normanton
