Description
A speed restriction has been imposed between Laurencekirk and Montrose due to high temperatures today.
This may added up to 30 minutes to journey times between these stations.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
Customer advice:
Rail replacement transport has been organised, there is one bus at Glasgow Queen Street provided by Photoflash and one 16 seater mini bus provided by James Hilson.
You can use your ticket, at no extra cost, on:
CityLink buses between Dundee and Aberdeen
Stagecoach North between Aberdeen and Inverness
Stagecoach East buses between Arbroath and Montrose (route number 30) and between Dundee and Arbroath (route number 73/A)
You can use your ticket, at no additional cost, on ScotRail services via any alternative route to your destination.
If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
