Description

Lines have now reopened following a safety inspection of the track between Montrose and Aberdeen. However, whilst service recovers, trains running between Dundee and Aberdeen may be delayed by up to 20 minutes, cancelled or revised.

Disruption is expected until 22:00.

Customer advice:

You can use your ticket, at no additional cost, on the following routes:

  • ScotRail services via any alternative route to your destination

  • Stagecoach Buses on routes 73/A: Dundee - Broughty Ferry - Balmossie - Monifieth - Barry Links - Golf Street - Carnoustie - Arbroath

If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
