Description

All lines have now reopened following an earlier obstruction on the track between Moorgate and Finsbury Park. Trains running between these stations may continue to be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 09:00.

Customer advice:

Work is underway to recover the scheduled service between Moorgate and Finsbury Park. However, residual disruption means that some services will continue to be subject to delays and alterations.

You will be able to travel on your normal route, but you should check before you travel. For the latest information, you should listen to announcements, check station screens, and consult journey planners.

While service is recovering, you should continue to leave up to 20 minutes extra to complete your journey this morning.

  • Thameslink and Great Northern services between Finsbury Park and London Kings Cross/ London St Pancras

  • London Underground between Finsbury Park, London Kings Cross and Moorgate

  • London Buses between Finsbury Park and Moorgate

There was a report of an obstruction on the railway earlier today, and this is has caused some disruption to services.

Network Rail staff have attended and removed the obstruction, which has reopened the lines for trains to run.
