Description

Following a fault with the signalling system between Glasgow Central and Motherwell / Lanark all lines have reopened. As service recovers, trains running between these stations may still be delayed by up to 25 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 16:00.

Avanti West Coast customer advice:

If your train is cancelled, your ticket is valid on one of the two Avanti West Coast services immediately before your booked train, or one of the two immediately after.

ScotRail customer advice:

You can use your ticket, at no additional cost, on the following routes:

  • ScotRail services via any alternative route to your destination

  • JMB on route 41 - Motherwell - Shieeldmuir - Wishaw - Carluke - Lanark

If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
