Description
The theft of signalling cables between Newark Northgate / Lincoln and Grantham means that fewer trains than normal are able to run on all lines. As a result, trains running between these stations may be delayed by up to 20 minutes, cancelled or diverted.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Hull Trains services may divert via an alternative route between Doncaster and Peterborough and may be delayed.
Services that divert will not call at Retford and Grantham.

If you are travelling to / from Retford and Grantham, you can use your tickets on LNER services at no extra cost in both directions.

Rail replacement transport has been requested to run between Lincoln and Newark Northgate. More information will be provided once this is confirmed.
You can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following services:
East Midlands Railway between Sheffield and London St Pancras International
Hull Trains between Doncaster and London Kings Cross in both directions
