Description

Lines have reopened following a trespass incident at Newington. Train services running through this station may still be cancelled, delayed or revised.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Customer advice:

What's happened?

A trespass incident was reported in the Newington area. Power to all lines was switched off, so all lines between Rainham and Sittingbourne were blocked.

Police and response staff are on site, and report the trespasser has left the line, so power to all lines has now been restored.
