Description

Following a fault with the signalling system between Dalmeny and North Queensferry, lines have now reopened. Trains may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised to allow the service to recover.

This is expected until 13:00.

Customer advice:

You can use your ticket, at no additional cost, on ScotRail services via any alternative route to your destination.

Your ticket can also be used, at no extra cost, on local bus routes with Stagecoach East between Inverkeithing and Montrose covering the Fife circle. Just show your valid train ticket/SMART card to the bus driver when boarding.

(Not valid between Edinburgh and Inverkeithing.)

Additional information:

If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
