Description

A safety inspection of the track between in the Honor Oak Park area means that trains must run at a reduced speed on some lines between London Bridge and Norwood Junction.

As a result, trains running to / from these stations may be cancelled, revised or face minor delays.

This is expected until 13:00.

Customer advice:

Fewer Southern and Thameslink trains than normal are able to run on the line from London Bridge towards Norwood Junction. As a result, some services will be cancelled, or diverted via a different route to normal.

You may need to travel on a different train to normal, or change trains at an intermediate station to complete your journey. You should allow up to 30 minutes extra to complete your journey.

The expected service plan and ticket acceptance:

The below alterations to the normal timetable are expected:

  • Gatwick Express services are suspended

  • Southern services that run between London Bridge and London Victoria are suspended

  • Southern services that run between London Bridge and Epsom are suspended

  • Thameslink services that run between Bedford and Three Bridges will divert to run via Tulse Hill when running towards Three Bridges, calling at East Croydon, Gatwick Airport, and Three Bridges only

  • Thameslink services that run between Bedford and Brighton will call additionally at Norwood Junction when running towards Brighton

Your ticket will be accepted on the below at no additional cost:

  • Southern and Thameslink services between London, Gatwick Airport, and the south coast

  • London Underground services between London Terminals, or as required to complete your journey

  • London Buses between London Bridge and Norwood Junction

  • London Overground services between Canada Water (for Jubilee Line connections) and Clapham Junction/Crystal Palace/Norwood Junction
