A shortage of train crew on the Northern network is disrupting services running on various routes.

This means that services may be subject to short notice cancellations, alterations and delays throughout the day today.

Although services in the north west of England are expected to be the most heavily impacted, other routes across the Northern network will also be subject to disruption.

You are strongly advised to check your entire journey in full today if you plan to travel in the affected area.
