Between Leamington Spa and Nuneaton

Description

A member of train crew being unavailable between Leamington Spa and Nuneaton means fewer trains are able to run on some lines.

As a result, a reduced service is currently in operation between these stations.

This is expected until 15:00.

Customer advice:

Rail replacement transport will operate in place of any cancelled services.

To assist you with your journey, you can use your ticket on the following services at no extra cost:

  • Alternative West Midlands Railway services between Leamington Spa and Birmingham Moor Street

  • CrossCountry between Leamington Spa / Coventry / Nuneaton and Birmingham New Street

  • Chiltern Railways between Leamington Spa and Birmingham Moor Street

  • London Northwestern Railway between Nuneaton and Rugby, and also between Coventry and Birmingham New Street

  • National Express Coventry bus route 11 between Leamington Spa and Coventry, and also route 20 between Bedworth and Coventry City Centre

Stagecoach bus route 48 serves all of the stations on this route, but West Midlands Railway do not currently have an agreement in place with them to accept your rail ticket on board their services. If you choose to use these services, keep your bus ticket - they will consider refunding out of pocket expenses on a case-by-case basis.

Alternative travel advice:

If you're travelling between Coventry and Nuneaton, you can travel via Rugby or Birmingham New Street, however local bus services are often quicker for this journey.

If you chose to drive your car and park at a station on one of the routes below because of this disruption, your rail ticket will be valid to travel back to the same station later in the day to collect your car.
