Between Exeter St Davids and Okehampton
Description
A fault on a train between Exeter St Davids and Okehampton means a reduced service will run between these stations. This is expected to continue until 11:30.
Customer advice:
Your ticket can be used at no extra cost in both directions on the following Stagecoach bus routes:
5A: Exeter (bus station), Newton St Cyres (Belluno), Crediton (train station), Okehampton
5/5B/5C: Exeter (bus station), Exeter St Davids (5B only), Newton St Cyres (Belluno), Crediton (station)
If your train is cancelled, you may travel on either of the two services before, or two services after, your original train. If these are peak services or less flexible, you can still travel with your original ticket, at no extra cost.
Additional information:
One of the two trains used to run on the Okehampton line has broken down. Therefore, GWR can only run a train service every two hours. A replacement train is being sourced and is expected to be on site at approximately 11:30.
If you're travelling to Newton St Cyres or Crediton, alternative train services are able to call at these stations on the Barnstaple line.
Check before you travel:

Compensation:
You may be entitled to compensation if you experience a delay in completing your journey today. Please keep your train ticket and make a note of your journey, as both will be required to support any claim.
