Trains between Stourbridge Junction and Smethwick Galton Bridge

Description

Following a broken down train at Old Hill all lines have reopened. As service recovers, trains may still be delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Customer advice:

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on:

  • Alternate West Midlands Railway services between Birmingham Moor Street and Shirley, and between Birmingham New Street and Birmingham International

  • Chiltern Railway between Birmingham Moor Street / Stratford-upon-Avon and Leamington Spa

  • National Express West Midlands bus services between Stourbridge and Birmingham Snow Hill.

Dedicated rail replacement buses are being organized and will begin operating as soon as possible. These buses will run between Stourbridge Junction and Worcester, and between Shirley, Solihull, and Stratford-upon-Avon.

Members of staff are currently on their way to help you transfer customers onto onward transport.
