Description
Following a points failure between Wakefield Westgate and Doncaster all lines have reopened. As service recovers, trains running between these stations may still be delayed by up to 30 minutes, revised or diverted.
Disruption is expected until 11:00.

Services on the following routes will be affected by this disruption:
Between Leeds and Doncaster
Between Leeds and Sheffield via Wakefield Westgate. Trains on this line will be divert between Leeds and Sheffield and will not call at Outwood, Wakefield Westgate, Sandal & Agbrigg, Fitzwilliam, Moorthorpe, Thurnscoe, Goldthorpe, Bolton-on-Dearne, Swinton or Rotherham Central. Trains running from Sheffield towards Leeds can run normally
Between Leeds and Knottingley via Wakefield Westgate
Northern services between Leeds and Sheffield via Wakefield Kirkgate are not affected.
What should I do?
Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.
Road transport:
Road transport will be operated by Elite as follows:
Wakefield Westgate at 09:45 to Doncaster, calling at all stations
Doncaster at 09:40 to Wakefield Westgate, calling at all stations
Journey times may be extended by up to 30 minutes whilst travelling by road transport

Network Rail have carried out the repairs and the fault has been rectified.
