Description

A fault with the signalling system between Paddock Wood and Maidstone West means that all lines are blocked. As a result, trains are unable to run between these stations and will be cancelled or revised.

Disruption is expected until 16:00.

What's happened?

A fault with the signalling system has been reported in the Paddock Wood area.

Response staff are on site and have manually operated a set of points, to allow services to be able to run to / from Paddock Wood. However, staff require more time to fully investigate the issue; as a result, the line between Maidstone West and Paddock Wood will be blocked.

How does this affect my journey?

Services will only run between Strood and Maidstone West.
