Description
Following a fault on a train at Paignton all lines between Newton Abbot and Paignton have reopened. As service recovers, trains between these stations may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 50 minutes or revised to terminate / start back from an alternative station.
Disruption is expected until 12:00.

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following Stagecoach Bus routes:
11 - Dawlish Warren (station), Dawlish (The Green), Teignmouth, Torquay (Riviera Centre)
12 - Newton Abbot (station), Torre (station), Torquay (Grand Hotel), Paignton (bus station)
22 - Torquay (Strand), Paignton (bus station)
During this disruption if you wish to use local buses as an alternative means of transport and the local bus is not accepting Great Western Railway tickets please purchase a ticket on the bus, keep it and send it, together with your train ticket, to Great Western Railway to claim for a refund.
If your train is cancelled, you may travel on either of the two services before, or two services after, your original train. If these are peak services or less flexible, you can still travel with your original ticket, at no extra cost.
