Description

Following a vehicle striking a bridge between Perth and Dunkeld & Birnam all lines have reopened. Whilst service recovers, trains running between Perth and Pitlochry may be delayed by up to 50 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 10:00.

Rail replacement transport:

To assist customers, rail replacement transport has been arranged on the following routes:

  • 1 full sized bus will run from Perth to Inverness, eta between 09:15 and 09:30

  • 1 full sized bus will run from Inverness to Perth, eta between 09:15 and 09:30

Ticket acceptance:

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following services and routes:

  • Citylink:

    • M90 route between Perth and Inverness, calling at Perth, Dunkeld & Birnam, Pitlochry, Dalwhinnie and Aviemore

    • M91 route between Perth and Inverness, calling at Dunkeld & Birnam, Pitlochry, Blair Atholl, Dalwhinnie, Newtonmore, Kingussie and Aviemore

If you have had to drive to another station, your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
