Description

A fault with the signalling system at Pontypridd means that a reduced service will run at this station. As a result, trains running to / from and through this station may be cancelled or revised.

Disruption is expected until 14:00.

Rail replacement transport, provided by Bluebirds, will run between Treherbert and Pontypridd as follows:

• From Treherbert at xx:10 and xx:40

Transport for Wales have also organised rail replacement transport to operate between Pontypridd, Aberdare and Merthyr Tydfil.

You can also use your ticket at no extra cost on Stagecoach Buses:

• Between Treherbert and Pontypridd:

  • 120, 121, 124, 130 and 132

• Between Aberdare and Pontypridd:

  • 60, 61, 95 and 113

• Between Merthyr Tydfil and Pontypridd

  • 60, 61, 78, 79, 81 and X4
