The Met Office have issued various yellow weather warnings for heavy rain on Tuesday 11 November. The warnings currently cover the following areas:
Southwest England
South Wales
Western Scotland, including Glasgow and surrounding regions
Please check your entire journey before you travel.
The forecast inclement weather may cause trains to be disrupted:
Heavy rainfall can cause flooding that results in tracks being underwater and embankments being damaged
Flooding can affect points, which allow trains to move from one line to another, and electrical systems
Speed restrictions may be imposed for safety reasons, extending journey times
