Description

The Met Office have issued various yellow weather warnings for heavy rain on Tuesday 11 November. The warnings currently cover the following areas:

  • Southwest England

  • South Wales

  • Western Scotland, including Glasgow and surrounding regions

Please check your entire journey before you travel.

The forecast inclement weather may cause trains to be disrupted:

  • Heavy rainfall can cause flooding that results in tracks being underwater and embankments being damaged

  • Flooding can affect points, which allow trains to move from one line to another, and electrical systems

  • Speed restrictions may be imposed for safety reasons, extending journey times
