Description

Lines have reopened following the emergency services dealing with an incident in the Portslade area. Trains running between Worthing and Brighton may still be delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised whilst service recovers.

Disruption is expected until 13:30.

Customer advice:

The lines are reopening between Hove and Worthing. Services will be subject to delays and alterations, and you should leave at least 20 minutes extra to complete your journey.

You may not be able to travel on your intended train. Your ticket will be accepted on the below alternative at no additional cost:

  • Southern towards your destination

  • Thameslink for journeys via Three Bridges

  • Stagecoach Buses route 700 between Durrington-on-Sea and Brighton

  • Stagecoach Buses route 701 between Littlehampton and Lancing
