Description

A person has been hit by a train between between Potters Bar and Welwyn Garden City. Whilst the emergency services carry out their work, all lines between these stations are closed. As a result, trains between London and Stevenage will be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.

Changes to services

The following alterations are expected to the normal timetable:

• Thameslink and Great Northern services between London and Stevenage will divert via Hertford North where possible

• Thameslink services which run between Brighton and Cambridge will be cancelled

• Thameslink services which run between Peterborough and Horsham will run non-stop between East Croydon and Gatwick Airport

• Some Southern and Thameslink services are likely to call additionally at Coulsdon South, Merstham, and Three Bridges

As a result of services diverting via Hertford North, the following stations currently have no service:

• Oakleigh Park

• New Barnet

• Hadley Wood

• Potters Bar

• Brookmans Park

• Welham Green

• Hatfield

• Welwyn Garden City

• Welwyn North

• Knebworth
