Description

There is a fire next to the track between Prestatyn and Flint meaning trains are running at a reduced speed. As a result, services running between Chester and Llandudno Junction may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day

Avanti West Coast customer advice:

If your train is cancelled, your ticket is valid on one of the two Avanti West Coast services immediately before your booked train, or one of the two immediately after.

Transport for Wales customer advice:

Limited rail replacement is running between Chester and Llandudno Junction / Holyhead at no extra cost until 23:00

Your ticket can be used at no extra cost on Merseyrail services between Chester and Liverpool Lime Street until the end of the day.
