Description
Overrunning engineering works at Oxenholme Lake District mean all lines are blocked.
All lines have now reopened following earlier overrunning engineering works at Preston.
Trains running between Preston and Carnforth / Oxenholme Lake District may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until 14:00.
Avanti West Coast customer advice:
If your train is cancelled, your ticket is valid on one of the two Avanti West Coast services immediately before your booked train, or one of the two immediately after.
If you no longer wish to travel because your train's delayed or cancelled, you can request a full refund from where you bought your ticket.

The following TransPennine Express services are currently being disrupted, customers can travel on the following services, at no extra cost:
The 10:17 from Preston to Glasgow Central will now terminate at Preston.
Customers will be able to travel on the 11:00 TransPennine Express from Preston to Glasgow Central, however the 11:00 departure is also being delayed from Preston
The 09:16 from Glasgow Central to Manchester Airport will be delayed at Penrith.
The 13:12 from Glasgow Central to Manchester Airport will be started from Preston.
Customers can travel on the 14:01 TransPennine Express from Glasgow Central to Preston
Change at Preston for onward TransPennine Express or Northern connections towards Manchester Airport
The 10:13 from Glasgow Central to Liverpool Lime Street will be delayed at Carstairs.
The 10:13 from Edinburgh to Manchester Airport will be delayed at Carstairs.
