Description
Damage to the overhead wires at Prestwick Town means all lines are blocked. Trains running between Irvine / Kilmarnock and Ayr will be cancelled.
Disruption is expected until 10:00.
Customer advice:
A replacement bus service will run at Kilwinning at 07:15, provided by Temporal Travel.
Tickets will be accepted at no extra cost on Stagecoach Buses between Glasgow and Ayr.
You can use your ticket, at no additional cost, on ScotRail services via the following routes:
Services between Glasgow Central and Wemyss Bay and Gourock
Services between Glasgow Central and Paisley Canal
Services between Glasgow Central and Largs and Ardrossan Harbour
If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
