Description
Flooding between Middlesbrough and Redcar Central / Saltburn means that all lines are blocked. As a result, trains running between these stations may be delayed by up to 45 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Train services are unable to run between Middlesbrough and Redcar Central in both directions.
Services between Darlington and Saltburn will be affected by this disruption.
What should I do?
You can travel on the next Northern service to your destination, where available.

Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.
TransPennine Express customer advice:
Services will be terminated and started back from Middlesbrough. No further services will call at Redcar Central or Saltburn for the rest of the day.

At 22:55 an 8 seater taxi will run direct to Redcar Central and 2 taxis will run direct to Saltburn.
Journey times may be extended by 90 minutes whilst travelling by rail replacement transport.
