Between Ryde Pier Head and Shanklin

Description

A shortage of train crew between Ryde Pier Head and Shanklin means that fewer Island Line trains are able to run from approximately 09:30. As a result, trains may be cancelled or revised.

Disruption is expected until 16:30.

Customer advice:

As a result the following services have been amended:

  • 09:26 Ryde Pier Head to Shanklin will terminate at Ryde St Johns Road

  • 10:07 Shanklin to Ryde Pier Head is cancelled

  • 10:47 Ryde Pier Head to Shanklin is cancelled

  • 11:30 Shanklin to Ryde Pier Head is cancelled

  • 12:03 Ryde Pier Head to Shanklin is cancelled

  • 12:51 Shanklin to Ryde Pier Head will start from Ryde St Johns Road

  • 13:30 Shanklin to Ryde Pier Head will terminate at Ryde St Johns Road

  • 14:03 Ryde Pier Head to Shanklin is cancelled

  • 14:51 Shanklin to Ryde Pier Head is cancelled

  • 15:26 Ryde Pier Head to Shanklin is cancelled

  • 16:07 Shanklin to Ryde Pier Head will start from Ryde St Johns Road

Your ticket can be used, at no extra cost, on Southern Vectis 2 & 3 between Ryde Esplanade and Shanklin between the times of 09:00 and 16:30 only.

Island Line have also arranged a rail replacement bus to run between Ryde Esplanade and Ryde Pier Head from 09:00 until 16:30. Please note the shuttle service will not be running to a scheduled timetable.
